The political journey began at Yale Law, where he took a leave to serve as Counsel for the Republican National Committee during President George W. Bush’s re-election campaign. This early involvement laid the groundwork for later roles, including Senior Medical Advisor for Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential bid, cementing his presence in national politics.
In 2010, he led Senator Tim Scott’s campaign to victory, making Scott the first Black Republican from the South since Reconstruction. As Scott’s Chief of Staff, he guided Scott’s rise in Congress, securing a path to the U.S. Senate and playing a key role in his national prominence.
Following this, he took on the role of Director of Coalitions for the House Republican Conference, shaping strategy and outreach for the Republican majority.
By 2014, he joined Senator Ted Cruz’s team as Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff, playing a pivotal role in Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign and further solidifying his reputation as a skilled strategist in high-profile national politics.
Beyond politics, he holds a law degree from Yale, a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a B.A. from Yeshiva University, embodying a true multi-disciplinary professional.
